Pricing

On-chain only

Simple fees. No subscription.

Afta charges only when you use the protocol — register a keyword, sell an XFT, or trade fund shares. Settings live on the bridge and canisters, not a SaaS dashboard.

01

Connect Internet Identity

Your wallet on afta.cash is your II principal — no custodial account.

02

Approve only what you spend

Mint and buys use ICRC-2 approve + transfer. You set the allowance; nothing is auto-subscribed.

03

Fees settle on-chain

Label fees escrow then distribute. Market and DAB fees split in the same transaction as the trade.

Where fees appear

Four places users meet protocol economics — explained without jargon.

Label registration

When you mint or renew a keyword

You pay per year of registration. Base annual registration is $14.99 USD, converted to ICP at mint/renew via the bridge rate. Premium keywords (admin-set) use a flat ICP-per-year instead.

  • Registration ~$14.99/year → ICP at current FX (settings[1])
  • Plus mintFeeXFT (settings[0], USD → ICP); total × years for types 1–6
  • Feature XFTs (types 7–9): settings[12] USD · Generative (type 10): settings[17] ICP
  • Premium keywords: admin ICP/year overrides base label fees
  • Platform admins: free mint / renew
  • Escrow on XFT — refund if mint fails before commit

Marketplace sales

Taken from the sale price (seller side)

When someone buys an XFT, the listing price is split on-chain. Buyers still pay the listed price; fees come out of the settlement.

  • Platform fee ~3% (default)
  • Open market ~1.5% → Community Bag
  • Label / license split from XFT settings
  • First-sale DAB % can seed the Lead fund’s liquid

DAB trades (fund shares)

On buy / sell against a Tokenized Keyword bag

Bonding-curve style fund token of a Lead Label. Optional owner trade fee, staking fee, and BullRhun side pot — only when the fund owner turns them on.

  • Owner trade fee (0–5%) → owner claimable
  • Staking fee when staking is on
  • Flat DAB share-movement fee (default 0.005 ICP) on transfer, buy & redeem — paid by the trader/sender; parks to bag liquid if staking off, staking escrow if on. Bag wallet actions (swap, Betable, listings) are paid by the bag.
  • Platform admin traders: product trade fees waived

Network / cycles

Keeps canisters running

Some actions need cycles (compute). The platform keeps a buffer on each canister and sends surplus to the Community Bag so the network stays healthy.

  • Not a separate “subscription”
  • Surplus cycles → Community Bag
  • Low bags can request a cycles top-up

Always free

  • Browse market, search, docs, and home
  • Connect Internet Identity & view your wallet
  • Hold XFTs and fund shares (no custody fee)
  • Community page read views

You pay when you act

  • Register or renew a Tokenized Keyword
  • Buy or sell on the marketplace
  • Trade DAB (if the fund sets trade fees)
  • Transfer DAB peer-to-peer (flat transfer fee)

No hidden SaaS plan

Rates are enforced by Motoko canisters on the Internet Computer. Platform admins can configure bridge and market parameters; they cannot silently invent a monthly charge in the browser.
